Blokey card and more NEWS xxx

Good morning everyone, aren't I a "good girl"???

I promised that I would try my hardest to pop my nearly everyday, so far so good hee!! I have some more good news for you all that I'm excited about hee!! But before that, just gotta tell you about the Highland Show!!

It was good seeing all the different things and getting loads of free food, didn't need too buy anything for lunch hee!! Came home with loads of goodies and totally stuffed, perfect day hee!! But ......... yes hubby did make me look at the COWS!! The highland ones were so lovely with their wee babies, all groomed to perfection and their hair sitting better than mine, couldn't be that hard hee!! But he made me go near the other "normal" cows and BULLS. One bull was right next to me like inches away .......... all it did was stretch its legs ............... but scaredy cat me took off to the other side of the room ............ a good 40m!! Oh did hubby laugh at me!!

Ingredients:
White card -
Papermill
Papers -
Basic Grey Lime Rickey
image -
My Guy Ian coloured with promarkers

Hope you like the wee card? I don't usually make male cards but this was a wee ask for a friend so wanted to give it try!! I do adore my papers hee!!

OK the NEWS hee .................

  6. Hi Mel, love your male card, really cute. I don't think any of us like doing male cards unless we have to!

Sounds like you had fun at Ingliston. We used to always go when we had our farm near Lanark. Only been once since we came up to Aberdeenshire since it's a bit of a hike from here!!

Looking forward to working with you on the Crafty Cardmakers DT.

  9. Congratulations on your great news! Have fun!

Ace card, I love that Greeting Farm lad, and the colours you've chosen are fab! Have a good day, without any cows or bulls in sight - unless they're images on cards, of course!!

  10. Hi. Have just came across your blog and thought I would say how nice it is. Congrats on your DT for Crafty Cardmakers and thanks also for the link to their blog. Just new to cardmaking and hadn't figured out how to link to challenges properly and they have a tutorial on how to do it. Thanks and good luck with the DT. Donna

  12. My mum ruined half a dozen eggs when she was a youngster as she took a shortcut across a field, rather than walk the mile and a half around it the other way! She got half way across and spotted the bull she legged it and ran hell for leather to the other side. There was a 4 foot hedge and she said without breaking her stride she took off and sailed over it and then landed squarely in a nasty bramble patch the other side with the eggs smashed beneath her. Her prize for this lunacy - my gran made her go back out and get fresh eggs, and do extra chores for a month to pay for the ones she busted.

I'm another newbie at CCM and looking forward to working with you.
