8th December Challenge xxx

Evening all
OMG how good is Corrie hee?
Anyways, its been so so cold again today! This morning it was -23 when hubby went to work and never got much better the rest of the day! Have you seen the news? The M8 has been closed, that's the main road between Glasgow and Edinburgh, for two days but they got it open today! It means I might get to see my wee Granny this weekend as long as it stays open!! Fingers crossed!

I keep my wee self busy making some wee cards and doing some Dt stuff! I made these cards for some wee special people! just hope they don't see them until there posted and land on their door!

And this wee card I wanna enter into
Sweet Sketch Wednesday, Crafts and Me, Stamptacular Sunday and Daring Cardmakers

What do you think? Are they ok? One is for my big brother's Girlfriend Yasmin and wanted it to be perfect for her, well as perfect as I could do!!
Before I go tonight I wanted to share this wee picture that hubby took this morning before coming back into Lanark to work! This Hyndford Bridge(think its spelt right) and looks so picturesque and Christmassy hee!

Hee its lovely isn't it hee!
Today there is another prompt over on Christmas Crafting and this time its
"Write a letter to Santa/What do you want this year?"

Ohhhh ...... now this is such a hard one for me!!
My hubby has already asked me and my answer was ............... eh anything!! Yes lil me doesn't know or want anything really special this year so poor hubby has been stuck! I did tell him some wee stamps I wanted but apart from that I'm not bothered! For me just making it through this year with a much better year(if a bit painful at times) than last year! That has made my Christmas even more special and I hope next year will be just as good!

All I want for Christmas is ............ MY HUBBY and PUPPY hee!
Night night everyone
Hugs and Kisses

  2. The cards are gorgeous, Hun! And the pic of the bridge is stunning! The snow looks so lovely - just a shame it, and the cold temperature, have been causing such chaos! Take care and stay warm. Hugs Susie x

  3. Long time since I've seen Hyndford Bridge. Friends of ours used to be in a farm at the other side of the bridge.

Love your latest cards. I've just been watching Corrie and I couldn't concentrate on doing anything for trying to watch it.

  4. Hi Melly. I can't believe the temperature you had this morning, it makes you feel cold thinking about it. Hubby was brave to go to work in it, hope he was well wrapped up. Your two cards are beautiful. Love the colours in both and I'm sure your brothers girlfriend will love her card. Your snow photograph is gorgeous, looks like something out of a picture postcard. Although it is very cold the scenery is beautiful when there is snow or frost. Hope tomorrow is a lot warmer for you. Donna
P.S. Hubby buys me a card. He did attempt to make one last year as he forgot to buy one as he said he was to busy.

  13. It's like you took your color scheme from the photograph as inspiration! Darling card and image is so cute. I do love your papers and the shimmer you added along the edge. My dog is named Tillie too! She's a West Highland Terrier. The photo is beautiful Mel. There's nothing more pretty than fresh snow clinging to the trees and shimmering in the sun. Thanks for joining us at Sweet Sketch Wednesday. We hope you'll return again next week too!
