A quick day xxx

Good evening my gorjuss friends
Will its official I'm an "Xbox Widow"!! And not only that, my nephew is playing along with him through Xbox live world!! Oh will more time for blogging, crafting and lots of me stuff hee! I do admit the kinect was the perfect Christmas gift, we've been playing non-stop since Christmas night hee!

Today has been one of those rather fast days, washings and ironing, food shop and lunch! A wee bit of tiding then crafting, well only 1 card made but did get to ink up all my new rubber! Now to colour hee! I also made we Chicken en-croute for dinner with a mango type chutney filling mmmm was yummy!

We had our nephews again after school, but was a quite few hours with the oldest watching tv with me and the youngest happily making wee cards with some Wallace and Gromit stickers I had! So a happy we afternoon for all!

I promised you that I would have pics of my thank you cards but I totally forgot to take them and now its to dark! So instead here is some wee pictures I made for my Mother-in-law for her Christmas

With the lights out

A close up of the flowers

And a close up of the LOTV images I used

What do you think?? It looks better in the light as can see all the glitter and papers better! But she loved it and that's all that matters hee!
I think its time for a wee brew and a read of my book while hubby carries on playing!
Have a great night whatever your up to and thanks for stopping by and leaving a wee message! They always make my day!
Hugs Melly xxx

  3. Hi Melly. Sounds like you had a great day. Dinner sounds lovely. The lantern is totally gorgeous. Love the colours and images you have used. Considered the XBox and Kinect for the girls for Christmas but just went for more games for the Wii instead. Its definitely on next years list as Sophie got to play it at her friends and thought it was brilliant. Take Care. Donna
