Tri-Fold Birthday xx

Good morning everyone

Well sadly this will be my last Design Team post for Clare Curd Crafts, I want to thank everyone for their support and those who left me amazing comments to boost my confidence! And thanks to Clare for giving me the chance!

Now this week I created a lil tri-fold card

I took an A4 sheet of card and folded it twice to form my 3 panels, then taking those delish Fancy Pants What a Wonderful Day Collection, I decorated the panels on the front and the back. I added some ribbon to the panels too

I then took the utterly FAB Little Darlings Saturated Canary images and coloured them with markers, cutting them out and layering on the card with nestie ovals

I decorated the rest of the card with bunting I made from the scraps of the paper and twine for the front adding card candi to each one. Added gems and punched butterflies before finishing with lots of Mulberry Flowers, pins with seed beads and then of course glitter. The back I also added a text panel to write your little message, a birthday verse and then a die-cut butterfly to match everything in

I hope you like my wee creation and give an "oldie but a goody" tri-fold card a try!
Well until next time and thanks again for the support

Its just 2 easy xx

Hi everyone
Sorry for my wee post being a day late, been a hectic week here with all different things plus BIG Birthdays for family and friends!

This week for my Clare Curd post I've created a wee age card for a Special little one

This is how I made this wee quick number card

Using my Silhouette Cameo I drew out a 6x6 card then with the number 2 added it to the right side, fitting it to that half of the card. Then using the "rubber" tool removed all the extra lines adding a punched line to the middle to make it easier to fold. I also cut out another 2 to make the card sturdier

Once cut out I folded in half and stuck on the other white 2

Next I cut out another 2 slightly smaller using my American Craft Shoreline pad

I then stuck this onto the card after outlining with a marker

using some more Shoreline scraps I folding them in half then cut out some little triangles, edging with a marker again before sticking some twine in-between each piece then adding to the card

I finished with some gems, stickles glitter glue and also some letter and star stickers from the Fancy Pants What a Wonderful Day Kit

I hope you will try a number card out and don't forget to share!

Will till next time

Handbag or Giftbag??

Good morning my lovelies

and Happy Valentines Day to all my lovie dovie crafters out there! Did your partner surprise you with a card or bunch of flowers?? Hope they did!

Today I'm sharing a wee creation made with the most delish papers

Fancy Pants Designs - WHAT A WONDERFUL DAY COLLECTION PACK

these Fancy Pants What a Wonderful Day collection pack is just amazing!
If like me you like 12x12 "stroke-able" papers this is a set you need! Not only are the papers just fab, up to date and modern but the elements are fantastic for cards as well as Scrapbooking!

Here's what I made with mine

Yeah its a little tote style bag made using my Silhouette then Distressed all the edges with Tattered Rose

I stamped out my Saturated Canary image Krafty Kate. I coloured her with my markers and cut here out before sticking on to the bag with foam pads. I finished off the tote with some pink pearls on all the front and back corners

I even added brads to the bottom to give the little studded feet that totes sometimes have!
Its a great wee size and can happily fit and gift for that special friend or even some sweeties too!

I hope you like my wee bag and those amazing papers!
Well till next time

Take care everyone and have a great "LOVE" day

Some Odd 60th xx

Well good afternoon everyone

Is it snowing where you are?? We have a small blizzard on as I type but we've been lucky that not much is lying! To be truthful, I'm not so happy! I want to be our building snowmen lol yeah yeah "big kid" right here heeee! At least I'm warm and cosy sitting here typing

Today I wanted to share this little 60th Exploding Box I made for a Special Lady!

The information I was given when making this last week was that she liked Lemon colours, so with that I searched through my yummy paper stash and found this 12x12 Doodlebug paper

Having had a small splurge in the Some Odd Girl Digi shop (ok a large one) I decided these images suited the box well with the Spring colours making them pop

Aren't they just stunning images, no wonder I had to buy them ekkkk

I struggled with the flowers to match the centre as I ran out of lemon Mulberry flowers. After playing about I thought these pink ones with green tones roses matched in OK and then added little light gold roses to bring some yellow to the posy. And of course some butterflies to finish

What do you think? I loved making this wee box and it give me lots of enjoyment colouring and matching everything together!
