A Bow of a Card xx

Afternoon all

Can't believe its Wednesday already??
The weeks seem quicker and quicker the closer we get to Christmas, ekkkk not long till its here! I haven't even started my Christmas cards yet!! So behind with them AGAIN this year!! Hopefully I'll catch up with myself heeee

It was my gorgrous wee Grannies Birthday at the weekend and we had a fab fun day out with her, spoiling her rotten! Ohhhhh and feeding her lots of cake and ice-cream! The only wee lady I know that would eat puddings for Breakfast, Lunch and dinner ohhh and don't forget snacks heeee

I wanted to make here something different this year and after seeing The lovely Jo's creation I knew I had to give it a try!

Its called a Bow card and you can find the template here

I used my American Craft 12x12 cardstock for the base and the papers are September Skies from Heidi Swapp. The wee image is Rae from Crafts and Me one of Hannah Lynns amazing digis, coloured with Spectrum Noirs! The Antique Frame diecut she sits in is from Crafter's Companion fabby new Downton Range, distressed with Peacock Feathers Distress Ink and gloss to finish

I would like to enter the following Challenges

Craft Your Passion - Anything Goes
Papertake Weekly - Product Theme (distress Ink)

Well thats me for today, gotta finish Hubby's Birthday card and start my next one!
Hope the rest of your week is a fun one

  2. Wow, it's certainly a unique looking card, Mel. I love it! I'm sure your grandmother was also pleased with it. Love the patterned paper. Gorgeous image and beautifully coloured. The faux stitching added the perfect touch.
