A long post xxx

Hi all

Told you I'd be back! What a day I have had, its been like my Birthday and Christmas all rolled into one! I have had the best support form my great friends and even more from those great companies out there who wanna sponsor my wee Challenge Blog!!

I'm back and a wee Surprise xxx

Hi all

I'm back hee!!!

Oh I don't think I could handle losing my Internet ever again!! But thankfully I'm up and running and that's all that matters!! Nothing much else has been happening while I've been AWOL apart from a bit of a bug!!

I've been sick since Wednesday after catching some sorta bug! I'm a bit better but still not 100%! You know that way when you just cant face food and ache all over?? That's how I've been feeling! But never mind that, I have some exciting if totally scary terrifying news ................

I'm starting my own Challenge blog heeeee!

Yip you read right, I'm starting my own wee Challenge blog called Dream Valley Challenges! I'm hoping that you all will support me and hopefully play along! Not only that I hope that maybe you might wanna join my wee team?? Go on you know you wanna hee!!

If you wanna join my wee team you need only to be a crafter who enjoys all different crafts, you don't need only to make cards! Do you think I'm slightly crazy?? Hee probably! It was hubby's idea and has alot faith in me that i can do it hee!!

The truth is I've also fancied doing my own Challenge blog but never had the confidence to do it till now! Also the big push I needed was my hubby! He is my rock and believes in me and that's all I need!! Oh and also I never made the Simply Sassy Dt call and knew this would make me happy after being really bummed!

So I still have to post my creation from last weeks Sarah Hurley Challenge, so I'll hopefully get it done tomorrow and also catch up with my commenting too!

Off to have a good nose at all the stuff I've missed, especially all your fab creations!

So sorry for lack of posts but we've had no Internet access since Thursday!!

Afternoon everyone

This week over on Crafty Cardmakers we have a fab wee Challenge for you all
"FLORAL"
That's it! We wanna see use flowers in your creation somewhere! Whether that be an image, the papers or even lots of added flowers on the card!

I used one of the new fairy images from LOTV for my wee floral card. I coloured her with my promarkers and added glitter to her wings and the butterfly. The paper are Papermaina "Summer Bloom", just lush! I used my Spellbinder Nesties to layer the wee fairy up and made the wee "rolled" flowers from the scraps of paper left! The sentiment is from my stash.

So things around here have been not so good, hope your ready for my gibbering??

Ok, Hubby has been working quite far away this week and on Wednesday night he broke down!! Yes our wee rather new(only 2), brokedown in the middle of "NO MANS LAND"! It had only had its service over a week before! So RAC man came out, said there was air in the fuel line! So he syphoned the air out! Try the engine and woop woop it started!

RAC man said he would follow behind hubby to make sure all alright! Everything going fine, then 10mins down the road it just conked out! RAC man tried again but nope, didnt work! They had to be towed as wascausing havoic and so a Recovery truck could bring it to garage! Lucky garage right across from us so hubby wouldn't be stranded! Hubby phoned to say the pick up had arrived and they were just leaving, that was at 4pm!

I was waiting, watching for the poor van and hubby to come home, even Tillie was glum wanting her daddy no doubt! But at 6 on the dot the poor little van drove past the window into the garage! It was so so sad to see, our wee van that gets us everywhere hee! Garage stayed open for him and the van went straight into workshop for 1st thing in the morning!

Poor hubby had a few jobs to do and prce yesterday but with no wee van, he wasnt getting anything done! The garage said they had no courtesy cars, which was no good to us! So at 3pm hubby went over, they still had no idea what was wrong and the poor wee van was linked up to so many computers you would have thought it was in intensive care! The nice Service manger decided to give us his own work car so hubby could at least do some pricing and have a vechile for any emergency call outs!

At 5 the garage phoned and told us they thought it was the "brains" of the fuel management system was in melt down so order another! Hoping it would come today so hubby could get the van back on the road!

So as of almost 3.30pm we're still waiting! The part arrived about an hour ago so fingers crossed! If not it wont be till monday now and they will need to gets us a car of some kind as dont think the Service manger would give us his car all weekend!!

Told you it was long, ok and maybe alot more gibbery than normal but you know me hee! Here's the poor wee van as arrived on the Recovery truck, looks so sad!!

Something even funny in all this, I had a dream last nigh that the van was in Franksteins dungen being worked on an the van even had the bolts coming out hee!

Well of to play while hubby stares out window looking for his wee van!

Evening my lovelies
How you all doing? Have you been doing anything nice today?
I've done some cleaning, gutted the bathroom and freshen up all the "decorative" towels! Hee why do we have "decorative" only for show towels?? Seems like madness to men but to us women its the way it is hee!!

Anyways after that I prepared dinner of spiced meatloaf and potato wedges then watched wee bet TV before getting some Stationary Samples made up and then making a wee card using some new stash! I was going be really lazy and have a DVD day but got bored half way through hee! Guess I just wanted to craft hee!

I wanted to share the wee card I made for my wee Granny to send to my wee cousin Piper who turns one at the end of the month.

I had got the wee image to make invites for Pipers wee 1st Birthday Party and knew my wee Granny would love a matching card! She adored it hee!! Here is the wee invites

I cant wait to see if my Aunty likes them! They live in New Zealand and the tartan was perfect for the "Bonny wee lass" that she is hee!

Just having a wee night cosy on the couch as poor hubby is working hard and up early again in the morning! Although he will have to put up with CSI at 9pm hee! He will probably fall asleep before that but that's OK!

Granpa's Birthday xxx

Hello everyone
Hope you are all well today and had a fab wee weekend? Ours was quiet as I was a bit ill but feeling better now, thanks for all the wee "Get Well" messages! We did nothing much at all, took the dog out and played Xbox and I crafted! Then yesterday was my Granpa's Birthday and we went through there to celebrate with him, my wee Granny and my Mum and Scott!

As I told you we made him up a wee box full of breadmaking goodies that we loved and I was even making rolls after a few hours hee! I even had time in my wee busy, yeah right, Saturday to make him a birthday cake. A Vanilla and White chocolate Sponge with White chocolate buttercream, everyone loved it hee!

Well as you can see from my wee title, hee yes wee me won!
I won Challenge 48 over on Totally Papercrafts for my wee Thank you cards i made for my family! Cant stop smiling hee!! Not feeling that good and this has totally brighted my wee day!



Not much to report today!

As I've not been 100% only did some housework, food shop and finished some wee invites and a card my wee Granny asked for! I forgot to take some pictures but will get them tomorrow when the light is back! I also got my Granpa's Birthday present today! We decided to make him up a wee hamper full of bread making stuff including a book, gluten free stuff, the normal flours and even some seeds and herbs to add in! He got a bread maker for his Christmas but wanted to try all the gluten free stuff and me being a wee expert in that field(she says) I know just the stuff to get him hee!!


Hubby is just playing his xbox so I came on here for a wee post plus some commenting then after we're gonna watch a wee movie as again we never made it to cinema!! Oh well, maybe next week ....

Hey all
Sorry I haven't been around, was so tired yesterday and then the silly Internet wasn't working!

So .......... THE DEMO ....... Went ........ FANTASTIC!!
Hee hee, yeah it was great! The ladies were amazing and were nothing to be scared off hee! Had such a fab lil night and got booked for more demos plus orders and sold all my samples hee! I even won a giant box of Chocolates in their wee raffle hee!!

Anyways, its my Step dads birthday near the end of the month but my wee mummy is taking him away so we're seeing him on Sunday to give him his wee gift! Not only that its my Granpa's birthday on the 16th so we'll have a wee tiny ickle party for them both, I'll even try and make some cake!

Hey everyone
So there is only a few hours to my wee demo tonight ........... OMG I'm so so nervous!! Haven't done one for a while and my stomach is doing flips thinking about it! I know once I've started I'll be fine, but I still gotta get there hee!

To calm my wee self down I decides to play with my wee stamp that the gorjuss Susie got me for my Christmas! I just adore her honey, thanks muchly! I decided after making it i might as well enter the Simply Sassy GD call, one can only try hee!

A full day xxx

Hi all
Can you believe its already the 10th of January already? Cant believe this year is going so fast!! It'll be Easter before we know it and we'll still have this snow!! Not that I'm complaining, I still love the snow hee!!

So today has been a full, full day! I cleaned and hoovered, washed and ironed, folded and put away then sorted through the spare room putting all the bedding away and folded the sofa bed back into place! And that was all before 12! After a wee breakfast and brew I got started on my last card for the demo!

I took over an hour to colour my wee image on the card as wanted it to be as perfect as I could do!! The image is just lush and wanted to do it justice! What do you think?? Did I get it right??

A bit of cake xxx

Hey all
Hope all is well out there in blogland? Thanks for all the wee messages yesterday, its interesting too see what we all have a weakness for when we're out shopping hee! Us crafters gotta save our pennies for more stash hee!

Today has been a lovely wee day! I made lots of yummy things for hubby going back to work tomorrow! I made some Vanilla Parfait cupcakes and triple Chocolate and cranberry muffins the results are below!

Hubby gives them both 10/10 but he may be slightly biased hee!

I'm not a big cake person but do love baking and cooking anything! I give anything ago even if I wont eat it hee! I adore anything "Cupcake" and all my family get me wee cupcakey things including a fab Cupcake Cherry-on-top apron my best friend Ellie got me for Christmas! I also have keyrings, lip glosses, charms, books, pens, t-shirts and even cupcake jammies! If its cupcake shape or got a cupcake on it "I WANT IT" hee!

I made this wee card as part of my demo on Tuesday and have all the parts made up to make another one hee! I'm looking forward to Tuesday now but probably by the time it comes I'll be terrified, feeling sick and needed a pee every 2 mins!! Yes I will be so nervous, ekk thinking about it has just given butterflies ekk ekk ekk!!

Ok lets talk about nice things ........... What is your fav "cant live without" craft item? Something as simple as your fav tool or is it an item you love to use?? Me I adore my papers and have a giant, massive, huge collection that I just love! But that doesn't mean I don't need more!! I just love my papers!
