Crafty Cardmakers - Spot and Strips xxx

Afternoon all
Where has the sun gone?? Its so dull, dark and terribly clammy, guess that's our summer tho!!
I spent yesterday reading and then sort of planted some of my home-grown bedding plants, but very unsuccessful so hubby was left to do them! We still have 2 full trays of Livingston Daisy's, just need another few tubs hee!

Thanks again to all your kind comments! I do promise to be good and rest! Gotta really or no craft shop hee

Now on too my wee Dt creation!
This fortnight at Crafty Cardmakers we have a good little Challenge for you all

All you gottta do is have some sort of Spotty or Stripy papers or creation on your wee project! I sort of cheated as I had my wee card made a few weeks ago, but that was good with me being so accident prone all the time hee

I would like to enter this into the following Challenges
C.E.S Challenge - Anything But Square
Sweet Stampin' - Something Old, Something New (old -Image, new - papers)
Daring Cardmakers - Something Old, Something New (old -Image, new - papers)

As I'm trying to type this left handed with one finger I'm banned from crafting for 2 weeks!!! YES 2 WEEKS!!
I spent 3hrs in A&E yesterday after losing my footing coming into the conservatory and trying to save my camera and the card I had just been picture(the one below)!

They couldn't make out anything in the x-rays as there was too much swelling, but they were sure it wasn't broken! But I do have a lovely fracture and some colourful tissue damage, all shades of the rainbow! So the numpty idiot that I am cant do anything at all! No crafting boohoo

Oh and I just got some new goodies and I cant even play with them!! Anyone wanna come play so they don't feel lonely and unwanted???

Anyways, enough of me!

This time over on Crafty Cardmakers we want to see you do something that lil bit different

fun or what hee!

I was totally stumped as to what to do and sat staring at this for a good few hours

After a while tho, it started to look like something(whether that was to much staring or me just going mad)

So after a few attempts and some BAKING later, here is what I came up with

Yeah,I tired my hand at making a wee fimo character with a jam jar toadstool lol

What do you think?? Is it ok??

I painted the inside of the jar white, made the toadstool top with fimo formed on the lid the made the wee character following a books instructions for sugar paste characters(thanks mum, it was amazing wee gift)! Then added some lil flowers, glitter and all done hee!

We created animation for the Feature Film "Fern Gully The Last Rainforest". We also animated a Christmas Special "The Wish That changed Christmas" and a video featuring Rudolf the Red Nosed Reindeer. For the past 20 years I have had the pleasure of creating animations for Disney, Fisher Price and Mattel and bringing their characters to life. In 2006 I decided to bring my own characters to life with my first Children's Book, "Oink Finds an Egg".
