Colouring the rain away xx

Morning everyone

I do hope to find you all well??
I'm doing ok, had a good weekend but over did it a bit and ended up rather sore and feeling run down again! Still can't get used to taking it "extra" easy!! Maybe next weekend I'll be back to my wee self, it is my birthday weekend and want to enjoy it!

I spent most of Saturday colouring and Sunday making a few cards! The hours just disappeared on Saturday while I was colouring, perfect wee day for me and my promarkers and my favourite Crafts and Me digital stamps

I used the gorgeous Hannah Lynn Dee Dee image with the fab sunflower design coloured with promarkers and used an oldie Basic Grey 6x6 paper pad

I would like to enter the following Challenges
Crafts and Me - add ribbon
Passion For Promarkers - S is for Sunflowers

I loved colouring this wee image as well as the ones below that I'll be turning into wee cards in the next few days as well as working on something special!

Well time for a wonder around blogland
until next time

Its almost Birthday Season xx

Afternoon all

Is it pouring where you are??
Its windy, cold and raining here and looks like the whole weekend will be the same! Will I've some cards to attempt with hubbys help (can't stamp yet as no strength lol) and lots of pretty yarn to play with while it pours!

March is a busy month here for us, so many Birthdays including my own which means lots of fun crafty time! It's still taking me days to make one card but at least I'm spending some time getting back into things starting with these 2 wee cards

I used an oldie but a goodie Magnolia Stamp coloured with promarkers and used some Basic Grey papers, ribbon and mulberry flowers from my stash and finished with a Craftwork Card sentiment

I would like to enter the following Challenges
My Time to Craft - Oriental
Crafty Gals - Bingo

This is another wee oldie stamp, one of my first ever and I still adore her! I coloured here with promarkers and papers and ribbon from my stash

I would love to enter her into the following Challenges
Creative Card Crew - Birthday with a Sentiment
The Sugar Bowl - Anything Goes

Even tho it takes me all my time just to create a simple card, I'm loving getting back into colouring and playing with my papers

Well I'm off out to the supermarket for the first time in exactly 4 weeks ekkk wish me luck

A Birthday Star xx

Hello all

I do hope to find you all well??
I'm doing better, even managed a trip outside! It might have only been t the bin but it was unaided and didn't need by hubby to hold my hand!

Today I waned to share this wee card I made for Scott, my step Dad! His birthday was the day I went into hospital in January and then he unlucky had an operation the following week! So two of us are stuck in trying to get back to health at the same time!

I used my Silhouette Cameo to cut out the shape and elements
The papers are Studio Calico and embellishments are from my stash
I outlined everything with a promarker, Duck Egg, to make the colours pop!

I had so much fun making it and have plan to make another!

Will off to sit ad crochet, my only activity not to cause too much pain!

Till next time

Ohhhh Hello there ..... its been a while xx

Hello out there

What a long time its been since I've been blogging, I know its bad but when your in pain every day it just gets to that point you can't do everything!

Well, I'm on the mend!!
For those of you that I've read by blog over the years know my pain was constant and docs just tried new medication to ease it! Will under 4 weeks ago I had the operation to stop all that and believe it or not IT WORKED! Although I have the the operation aches and pains (plus an infection) to get over I'm already feeling better! Once I get over the tiredness I think I'll feel like "a whole new women"!!

I've still got to take each day one at a time and try not to run before I can walk but I'm looking forward to getting on with it and making sure 2015 is the start of a better pain free life!

Today I thought I would share some crafty creations and moments that happened last year that I didn't get the chance to share last year! So grab a cuppa and sit back and enjoy the pictures

Last year I found a fab crochet pattern for Mermaids and I loved it so much I Have managed to make at least 12 of the cuties!

This is my first attempt at the Silhouette Cameo SVG Cuts Box cards, I made for a friends Birthday

Here's a wee Birthday card I was asked to make in November, I adore Some Odd Girl Images and always find them so much fun to colour

When my crochet mag arrived in November the pattern for this wee cute guy was on the front! I just had to make him and then got asked to make some more

Here's 2 more that were gifted to some lucky people on Instagram

As you know I turned 30 in March last year and for part of that I was gifted a visit to The Making of Harry Potter which I decide to leave till it was all set for Christmas!

The best part was seeing the Hogwarts model all covered in snow! It took my breath away AGAIN! Can't wait for the next visit!

I always Challenge myself to make something Special for a Christmas card and this year I made this wee house from the SVG Cuts

even added a faux flicker candle!

Plus my wee granny and granpa needed something special to add there Christmas Vouchers into, so there very own bus was created

Christmas was a fun time to get decorating and newly decorated living room and new fireplace

Just an 8ft tree by about 8ft that needed to be cut to fit in!

The rural Christmas Show went to see Wicked in Edinburgh and yes I was in tears!

We enjoyed and still so many nights in front of his fire with the dog enjoying it too!

My first card for January was this fun 30th one with extra sparkle

and them this one for a lady who loved her horses, I had never coloured horses and thought I did OK for a first timer!

lastly I made these lil baby booties, not knowing if there were the right size or not heee

As you can see the last few months have been busy and including lots of fun and mixture of crating plus lots of Design Team things for Crafter's Companion!

I hope I will be able to keep the blog more up to date this year with lots more crafting and adventures I'm on with the Hubby and the dog!
But I bet you need a break

Till next time
