To finish this box i used muy usual ribbons, peeloffs and also punched out flowers and loads of gems!

Blue Birthday

Me again hee, thought I would add this on too as I just finished it!

Its a box for my mother-law to give to her friend! Wasn't to sure how to decorate it as I didn't have a theme to go with apart from blues, turquoise! After a few days debating with my self I decided to stick to flowers as there safe bet for women! Also added images from my Sugar Nellie stamps, just suited this card well!

For this box I used a bright blue 12x12 card stock and PM "The Big One" paper to decorate. I used silver and white card to layer the sides. I've used flowers from PM trio packs with gems to decorate, plus punched daisy with gems on the other sides. I also used wee frames and flower embellishments to decorate the outside. The box is finished with the stamped images. i used Blossom by Leanne Ellis from Sugar Nellie and coloured with Whisper pens.

Think the colours all work really well together! my mother-in-law loved it, just hope her friend does too!!

Wedding Cake

Hey everyone, hope you've all had a good weekend? didn't do much here, caught up was orders whilst hubby was finishing the driveway. He got a new van and needs the driveway to be bigger, really so I don't need to climb over to drivers side every time I go in or out!!

Well I was asked to make a nice wedding box for an older couple. Wanted it in ivory and gold, didn't have a lot of card stock as my orders hadn't came yet! Hope this is still OK for them??

I used a ivory/lemony card stock as it was all I had, then used PM papers to cover it. I also used off white sparkle paper to print out the wee messages, brown and gold papers to layer the sides. to finish the box off i used gems ribbon and wee flowers. The horseshoes I drew then cut out. The cake is made from 2 sheets of A4 card. Some ribbon and wee beads finish the cake off!

Hopefully its OK for the couple and the lemony its too noticeable!

Card for Chris!

Hi all, been a busy week for me! Had another 6 boxes to get done and also more wedding stationary catch ups! Been so horrible here, cold, rain, sleet and hail! Would have thought it was winter again! Today has been nice tho, hubby got more of the driveway done whilst I played in craft room! Not a bad day really!

Well I've done it, made the card I was asked to do for the blind person. It was one of the hardest boxes I've had too do, but with everyone's help I got it done! A big Thanks to Ellie for her help with finding me Braille, thanks pea!!

I used a bright green card stock for the base and PM 12x12 checked paper to decorate the box! Also used scraps of white card for the side panels. On the sides I used felt and triple stamped images so he could feel all the outlines! On the other sides I used gems for the Braille wording, with peel-off letters underneath for others to read. I used some flower soft on the outside for a grass effect. To finish off I added more gems and ribbon plus a wee whiskey in the middle!

I'm so happy with this box, the results are great! All the feed back I've had so far has been great!! Hopefully Chris will like it too, fingers crossed!!
