Halloween time xx

Morning all

I do hope you are all well? I'm still struggling with this stupid cluster migraine but at least its easing and I can concentrate a little!
Were all my UK buddies ok? Did the storm hit and cause any damage? Up here in my part of Scotland we had hardly any wind and just a bit wet! We were the lucky ones this time and I know parts of England still don't have electricity! Thoughts are with those who suffered damage and hop its sorted soon!

Well this time at Dream Valley Challenges we've been running a spooky Halloween theme and you still have till Friday to enter! Please remember to follow our rules and you could be the lucky winner of some fabby goodies from Di's Digi Downloads!

Here's my creation

Morning all

Sorry for the lack of posts, been under the weather this week with a horrible cluster migraine! Its still here but at least not as bad giving me a chance to do this!

Friday again and time for another Clare Curd Design Team post and this week I've went with an oldie but a goody craft

I dug out my trusty Pink Smash Folio and then found some pictures of hubby from one of our many adventures that just needed to be put in the book

On the first page I used lots of different elements from the Smash range including my favourite Black Dotty Washi Tape and the fab Green Gird paper that comes in the Grab bag

I used some Basic Grey Letters from my stash and also The "Good Day" sticker from the Hey You range

The Second page I keep simpleish with using one of the Large Folder pocket, where I've added out tickets to keep safe plus more of the Green Grid paper from the Grab Bag

Embellishing the second page with more washi tape including the Calendar Tab one, more Hey You stickers and the Activity Pad for the little journalling tab

Why not check the amazing deals Clare has on the Smash range and grab your self a wee BARGAIN!

Well thats me

Bibbidi Bobbidi Boo .....

Good Morning all

Well its Friday again and that only means one thing Clare Curd DT post! And this week I have gone all Halloween for you all!

Yeah I made a little pumpkin card with some more of those lush Hey Boy Basic Grey papers

Firstly I drew out my pumpkin on scrap paper than drew round it on a card blank before making panels with the papers, layering the vibrant orange onto brown to help it pop! I distressed the edges with Vintage Photo before sticking together and layer onto the card blank. Added some die-cut leaves then some swirl and gems to finish

A nice easy simple card but perfect for the season!
Well lovelies until next time TTFN

Gorjuss Paper Piecing xx

Well hello my lovely crafters

Hello to Friday again, time for another wee post for Clare Curd Crafts and this week I have gone with an oldie but a goody for you all

Using another of my Gorjuss Girl stamps I decided to do a little paper piecing. I haven't done this for ages and for got how simple it was and how much fun.
Firstly I made a simple layout on my card blank with my American Crafts Shoreline papers and some ribbon from my stash. I also outlined all the papers with a red alcohol marker

I then stamped out my lovely little Puddles of love stamp onto some more of the pattern papers and my white cardstock. I then cut out the different parts I wanted in pattern paper

After colouring my image with alcohol markers I then paper pieced the pieces into place. You can see below I paper pieced the jacket, umbrella and boots

Next I cut out the image leaving a tiny small white border before adding foam pads to the back and sticking down on the card. Lastly I added a little sentiment and some embellishments I had in my stash

and thats it finished!!

A really quick simple card that brings all your beautiful papers together
Well thats me TTFN

Birthday Basket xx

Happy Friday

Hello my lovelies, I do hope to find you all well! Can you believe how warm it has been the past few days, but I'm not complaining too much lol!

Now this week I wanted to share another wee tutorial with you all for my Clare Curd DT post, something simple and doesn't need lots of crafty materials

Doesn't it look rather pretty and filled with some sweet treats will make a great gift for that very Special person on their Birthday!

Now firstly You will need a piece of 12x12 card divided equally up in to nine 4x4 square

Next you want to make two pendant style triangles in the two middle square as below, I did this my measure 2 inches in to the middle on bottom edge then drawing to lines out to the centre. Once you have both sides done cut away the waste area

Next on the outer squares measure three panels at 1 1/2', 1 1/4', 1 1/4 inches as below

Do this on all the corners then cut down the lines and these will form the sides for the Birthday Basket

Then on the inner two panels you want to trim off a small tab, about 1/2 inch ( I use a ruler width )
You can see below

Next you want to decorate the outside of the basket, I used some of my American Crafts Shoreline papers and then used an red alcohol marker on all the edges!

Now comes the tricky part
You want to stick the opposite tabs together, about an inch over lapping as you can see below

Then you want to stick the other panels together too, overlapping the first panels and each side

on all 3 panels

Next stick the triangle pendant up, you might need to hold this in place for the glue to stick or maybe use paper clips to hold in place while you work on the other side

I then stuck down the side panels, again edged with the alcohol marker

Then add a handle, 2 inches wide by 12 covered with more of the delish American Craft papers. I then added a birthday sentiment layered with spellbinders on matches papers with a few little paper roses to finish

Once finished add some tissue paper and some sweeties for that Special someone

I hope to find out if you all make a wee Basket for yourself
