Love is in the AIR xxx

Happy Sunday

I hope you are all well and enjoying a super relaxing Sunday?? How was your week? Mine has been rather rubbish!!

Some of you know I suffer from chronic Migraines and I was unlucky to have had a week long one! Stuck in bed, dizzy spells, spots in my vision and even nose bleeds!! It was a hard feeling sorry for myself time but at least its just a dull ache now and I'm over the worse (fingers crossed)! I can get back to work this week and get on with all my fab allocations!

What about you lot?? Any nice plans this week? Hope there filled with fun craftyness and even more fun and good surprises!!

The super talented Jo has created two amazing Valentines digi's just in time to create something for the extra Special person in your life! I used both the Love Letters on the front and the Sweetheart girl in the inside of my wee Twist and Pop card

I coloured the images with Spectrum Noirs and the papers are a really old collection I had in my stash but looked perfect with the wee images!

I hope you like my card as much as I loved making it! I closed the envelopes but could be perfect fro some little sweets or a little love letter??

Check the Time for Tea Community Facebook page for more inspiration or maybe share some of your fab makes there too!

Well I'm off for a brew and put my feet up before starting Sunday dinner!
Have a great week all

A touch of Pink xx

Happy Sunday lovelies

I do hope this finds you all well? I'm on the mend after that flu just wouldn't shift! Been a busy week work and personal life, non-stop and lots of baking!

It was the SWI's (Scottish Women's Institute) 100th Birthday last year and this year was our Institutes 90th. We had a fab wee meal on Wednesday with some fab speeches, games and lots of stories from over the years. I made lots of cupcakes instead of one big cake so the ladies could take their individual one home and enjoy when they weren't so full after the yummy meal!

A fab night, lots of laughs and I was stuffed!!
Also this week was my mum's friend Diane's 50th Birthday! Sadly we couldn't make it to the party with Hubby still being ill but I did enjoy making her wee card!

I made a wee easel card using the stunning new digital stamp Happy New Year, Raise a Glass Girl from the fab Time for Tea Designs

I coloured the image with my Spectrum Noirs and the papers are First Edition Sweet Nothings and lots of glitter to make it all sparkle

I also baked again for Craft Club on Saturday where we made some paper bunting, had a good gossip and they enjoyed some yummy Lemon and Lime gooey Cupcakes

Well I'm off to finish some crochet and heat up by the fire, its so cold tonight and can see us getting the snow soon!

Take care and have a great week you lovely lot
hugs Mel xx

Happy New Year xx

Evening all

I do hope this finds you all well?
Its been a while since by last post and I've been soooooo busy

Not only have I been busy with work and craft life but me and Hubby have been none stop! We thought Christmas would be a nice relaxing time for us just to chill and enjoy some time together but sadly NO!!
I caught that horrible Flu that is doing its rounds a few days before Christmas and just got worse! Ill on Christmas Day and just wanting to sleep wasn't very nice and then poor hubby caught it! He spent New Year ill and only yesterday did we both start to feel almost normal again!

Before we got ill, we did have some fun!
The best part of Christmas was going and cutting down our own tree!! Yeah you read that right, we CUT DOWN our own tree! Ok so I attempted it but hubby had to take over, its hard work you know and I'm small lol! Then once the tree was home and ready to decorate it became a HARRY POTTER tree woohoo

We did enjoy our New Year at the Bonfire (even ill) with our family including my brother and his fiancĂ© this year! But we all were home for 2am tucked up in bed, all exhausted heeehehehe

I did manage to try my hand at Fluid Acrylic Pour with help from Jamielee. Lots of messy fun and lots of laughing trying to get the mixture right and the colours to look the way we wanted

I also managed to crochet a little, but only the past few days! Its the first time I had the energy to just sit and enjoy my wee Christmas break! Here's my wee Bird and Dragon

The fab Creative Stamping Magazine is out now

I was lucky enough to get to create some crafty makes with them including a Desk Caddy, a Notebook and Desk Top Easel Calendar! The stamps are perfect for all ages and the magazine is full of great inspiration to get you started

Well its back to work for Hubby and me tomorrow but I'm looking forward to it (yeah shock horror)! I want to get my teeth into some fun crafty Challenges and create something a little different! But I have vowed that I will take more time for my Blog this year and find more time to create just or me!

Happy New Year and hope its full of FUN, LAUGHTER and GOOD HEALTH
