Lazy Summer Days xxx

Good Morning all

Ohhh its not so nice today here, been raining on and off and no sunshine boohoo! Whats it like where you are? Do you still have the glorious sun or is the dreaded rain with you too? We did have a wonderful weekend of sunshine so I can't complain too much!!

We went away to Milarrochy Bay on the Loch Lomond shores! Its was stunning, right on the waters edge surrounded by the lush hills and woodlands! Our site was right on the path of the West Highland Way and gave us the excuse to do some lovely walks!

We walked from our site to the carpark at Rowardenna at the bottom of Ben Lomond, a nice wee 6 miles walk! The views were utterly stunning and meeting all the lovely back packers had the dog wagging her tail the whole time! We decided to try the walk to Ben Lomond, another wee 7ish mile! OMG!! It was like walking up a dried up waterfall the entire time and sadly I only made it to the view point, a 3 mile distance!

I was really disappointed as I so wanted to make it, but after speaking with my hubby I realised I achieved something!! I never blacked out once and tho it was hard going I still got up almost halfway with still to come down and walk back to our wee caravan!! Woohoo go me! lol

We even managed a wee treat when we were away mmmmm

Anyway enough of our adventures

Heres my creation

I made a little Ferris Wheel as these remind me of the "shows" coming during the summer months to the park near us when we were little! I know it still happens in some places but, ice-cream popcorn and all the rides are the perfect lazy Summer Day for me

a quick hello xxx

Good morning everyone

Well, I'm surrounded by boxes and paper and wooden shapes and loads of crochet creatures plus all the rubbish and not forgetting the 3D things I've been making .................... lets just say my craft room is a bomb site just now lol! Tho on a plus, I'm not stressing like I normally do with "ONLY" 2 days left to the craft fayre lol!

Every thing almost finished, only some finishing touchs on cards and one baby girl box to add embellishments too and then price up tomorrow, ahhhh I can crochet in the sun all day tomorrow heee! I just hope the gorjuss weather won't keep everyone away from the craft tent!!

I really enjoyed making thus and using my wee neglected Magnolia Stamp coloured with promakers and my much loved Basic Grey papers!

Good morning my lovelies

Ohhhh where has the sun gone?

Mr Sunshine has disappeared from my wee part of Scotland but its still warm so not complaining! Well much heeee! How is it where you are? Still warm and sunny?

I meant to post this yesterday but the day just got away from me and before I knew it, was nearly 11pm! Do you have days like that?? Tho I did achieve lots and I even had some AMAZING NEWS, more on that later tho heee! Not that I like to tease you 

Now this fortnight at Dream Valley Challenge we have a great wee Challenge for you all, something for those who like a good "old Challenge" and one for people to "go on" and try some thing different

I made this wee Hot Air Balloon as a "card" for my Mother-in-laws Birthday! I like to make something different for her and this year was totally stumped, but came across this while browsing the good old "tinternet" and knew I had to give it a try!

I couldn't believe it when I got the email as, I only put my name in at the last min and knew that Clare would receive 100s or even 1000s of amazing people applying! So when hubby shouted for me to check the emails, I almost fainted ekkkk!

I can't wait to get started and get my teeth into something, I've missed doing my DT stuff and now is the time for me to get back into it! Fingers crossed I do here and the team proud!

A lil evening round-up xx

Evening all

Ohhh isn't this weather lovely, tho I'm stuck in the craft room working away! Its still nice in the evening to sit with a nice cool drink in the garden, right up till 10pm! But if your like me, its a struggle to sleep in the heat BUT I'm not complaining lol!

So what have you all been doing? Getting set for the school holidays are just indulging in the hot weather? We enjoyed a wee BBQ tonight, but I tell you mu hubby can eat a lot! Not that you would think that looking at him! A burger, 7 sausages, half rack of ribs, salad stuff then a quarter pineapple grilled on the BBQ too!! Where as I had a burger, salad things and the pineapple! Typical man heeeee

Tonight I thought I'd share some of the projects I made in the past months, as I sit here in the garden with my second Jeremiah Weed! Its sooooo tasty and easy to drink lol

I made this lil basket of flowers for my lovely friend Grace, who still has it sitting on display for all to see since May!

Well good morning to you all

Isn't this sunshine just what we needed? I'm usually hopeless in the sun but haven't been bad this year! Sitting soaking it up, covered in sun lotion, crocheting away! Yeah thats the way to enjoy the sun if I do say so myself!!What do you enjoy about the sun? Long nights and BBQ's cant beat them either!

I've been so busy with Wedding Stationary the past few months and box orders, but I did get asked to make a fab wee birthday card for a lovely lady!

Ekkkk thats the last time I blogged, what am I like!??!

Well at least I'm doing better health wise and thats what matters! Hows you lot doing? Has anything BIG happened in blogland?

 On Monday me and my friend had a lovely day out going round some walled gardens and I took some pics of the flowers in the glass house! No idea what these are but check the colours!

I made this wee card for the new Biggar Cornet at the beginning of the month using his chosen tartan!
