Sorry I haven't been around recently, things have been mad here!
With my Mums upcoming party, appointments here and there, Tillie being ill and then my poor Bros holiday cut short! We've had no time to even stop and think!
So firstly, everything with Mums party is going well. The cake is in the oven, only 3 layers to go hee! Then decorations tomorrow and the last bits on Friday before the party! Her Birthday isn't till tomorrow but with bro having to go(I'll get to that) we ended up giving her her Birthday on Saturday night!
We, that's Bro and Yasmin & Hubby and me, got her a lovely DNKY watch plus of course I made her a wee card just specially for her

Now that I've shared my wee card on to my long few days!! Maybe get a cuppa before you start reading!
Ok so my lovely bro arrived here on Friday morning at 4am and I was so hyper, as usually! We all went back to bed but me being me hardly slept so got up again! At about 9 me and hubby decided to take Tillie a nice big walk and let Bro and Yasmin sleep!
We got back just before 12 to find the two of them up and talking on their phones! When Bro got off he just looked at me ............ I knew something was defo wrong!!
They had received a text message "TELLING" them to get back to the ship, it was being deployed and all holidays were canceled! They were both gutted, I was gutted and my poor Mum was so upset!! I just keep thinking about all the poor families with wee kiddies that would be so excited to have their daddies back just him to go again! I so understand that it cant be helped and that its his job, its just so unfair!!
Anyway, once things were sorted on the phones, they didn't have to leave until Sunday night!! So a few phone calls later we had a meal booked for the 4 of us on Friday night at Cornhill then a Birthday Dinner for Bro at the The Butcher Shop on Saturday in Glasgow with the family!
It was fab if rushed weekend with pains, tears, sick, laughter and shopping all thrown in! He left on Sunday just before 5pm and we haven't heard yet when the ship leaves, but looks like Monday! Guess the Gulf and Yeoman need the help!
While that was going on, Tillie wasn't her wee self! On the Friday she started limping and wouldn't/couldn't come down the stairs! Hubby had to lift her and she spent most of the day sleeping and lying in her bed! I thought at 1st she was exhausted from walk but then the paw so just keep an eye on her! We could move the paw and she was crying!
On the Sat she was back to normal, hyper and bouncing everywhere! But on Sunday, she was terribly sick bring up bile and just sleeping! Wee soul that she is! Vet said just to keep an eye on her and make sure she drank plenty! Before bed on Sunday night, she came to life and we had to play fetch before bed! But at 2am hubby woke up to hear her being sick. We got her out of bed to clean it up and it was specked with blood! Not just wee bit but a lot of blood! So vets we went!
She was kept in over night for tests, I never slept a wink!!! In the morning vet phoned to say she was fine, a happy bouncy wee dog! The vet thinks she had an allergic reaction to something, you know how the eat everything and anything!!
She is back bouncing about, pulling me through bushes and bringing me every toy in her box! Phew!!! Think the hecticness and everything with bro made things all seem much worse! Tho shes my baby and anytime shes not her wee self I worry!!
Oh lastly, hubby popped out on the Friday to get eggs so I could make bro a wee Birthday cake since her wouldn't get his surprise one at Mums party, only to get his windscreen smashed in Morrison's car park! The silly Parking attendant said it didn't happen in the car park as he would have seen!! Stupid man!!!
So that's been my weekend and week so far, including my aches back and having to take the strong pain killers but at least I've got lots to do to keep me busy and keep my mind off everything!
