Little Lantern x

 Happy Wednesday you lovely lot

I do hope this finds you all well and you are having a good week so far? have you cooled down a little where you are? Or is it still warm? Its cooler here than the weekend but still clammy but with the odd rain shower!

Today I'm sharing with you my L Alphabet make for Use Your Craft Stash

I made a Little Lantern using a fab SVG Cuts file and embellished it with Lawn Fawn Stamps

As you can see I used some Lemon and Lime green papers as well as Light Grey for the body of the Lantern. I used my cute little Lawn fawn cuties stamp and die set Butterfly Kisses coloured with Spectrum Noir Classiques. The dots are my Nuvo Crystal drops along with Distress Oxide on all the edges

Remember you can join in all the fun over at Use Your Craft Stash and can win a wee prize every 2 weeks! See what the other girls have been up too for some fun inspiration! Plus it gets you using you're stash again

Well I've lots of Christmas allocations to get on with plus other bits and bobs
have a super day and stay safe

Christmas Bears x

 Happy Wednesday lovelies

I do hope you are all well? Staying safe and trying to stay cool??

The weather is crazy up here with hot clammy dull days then yesterday freak Lightning storms! We had sheet lighting (when its stuck in the clouds) at 10 last night for hours then at around 1 am were work to the thunder that turned into rain and giant hail lasting hours! It was running down the road and the thunder was so load with the lightning brighten the sky! Totally magical at times

Today I'm sharing my wee make from the Alphabet Challenge over at Use You're Craft Stash where we are up too K and L

Here is my 'Kissing' Gatefold Card inspired by the amazing Jennifer McGuire

When you open the sides go the card the cute little bears slide together to decorate the tree in a 'Kissing' motion. See the video below for how it works

I used the super cute Mama Elephant stamps and dies coloured Wirth Spectrum Noir Classique markers, some First Edition papers from my stash and the My Favourite Things trifold slider die to create the interactive mechanism for the card to work

You can see Jennifer's amazing video on how the basic card can be made here. My card is an 8x8 card and I had to extend the slider die-cut to fit my card and finished with the super cute snowflake sequins

Remember you can play along with the challenge as long as you use you're old stash and follow the Alphabet theme! Hope you will join us

Well I've dishes to do then some ironing (yeah in this heat)
until next time

Autumnal feels x

Hello you lovely lot

I do hope you are well and finding your way in to the the new normal after lockdown?? We have been away which was amazing, especially after seeing only the house walls for so long! A wee trip to our favourite place and lots of little walks to build up my strength again ....... just bliss

I even had some fun with my camera and caught these two shots! So pleased with myself

The fab new John Next Door Magazine is out and I had so much fun creating some fun Autumn inspired bits including a little Pumpkin and pretty wall hanging

My wee makes this time show just what you can do with the kit and lots of card! The Pumpkin is an SVG file from SVGCUTs but I have created a templates to help you make the other pieces!

a little 3D frame makes a great gift and card in one for someone Special

and the Wall Hanging could be changed to match any season with different colour ways

You can find your copy here and more inspiration from the Design Team and John too! Also there is sneak peeks of some of his new range and competitions too. Plenty step by steps to help you make some of the pieces including the little frame I made

Take care everyone and stay safe
