Oz Sneak Peek xxx

Afternoon all

So I hope your all well out there in blogland?? As the post says I have a wee peek for you of Sarah Hurley's new CD "Oz"!! But before I have a wee bit of a idiot moment to tell you about!

As I'm trying to type this left handed with one finger I'm banned from crafting for 2 weeks!!! YES 2 WEEKS!!

I spent 3hrs in A&E yesterday after losing my footing coming into the conservatory and trying to save my camera and the card I had just been picture(the one below)!

They couldn't make out anything in the x-rays as there was too much swelling, but they were sure it wasn't broken! But I do have a lovely fracture and some colourful tissue damage, all shades of the rainbow! So the numpty idiot that I am cant do anything at all! No crafting boohoo

Oh and I just got some new goodies and I cant even play with them!! Anyone wanna come play so they don't feel lonely and unwanted???

Anyways, enough of me!

So after a few attempts and some BAKING later, here is what I came up with

Yeah,I tired my hand at making a wee fimo character with a jam jar toadstool lol

What do you think?? Is it ok??

I painted the inside of the jar white, made the toadstool top with fimo formed on the lid the made the wee character following a books instructions for sugar paste characters(thanks mum, it was amazing wee gift)! Then added some lil flowers, glitter and all done hee!

We created animation for the Feature Film "Fern Gully The Last Rainforest". We also animated a Christmas Special "The Wish That changed Christmas" and a video featuring Rudolf the Red Nosed Reindeer. For the past 20 years I have had the pleasure of creating animations for Disney, Fisher Price and Mattel and bringing their characters to life. In 2006 I decided to bring my own characters to life with my first Children's Book, "Oink Finds an Egg". Good afternoon my lovelies

Hope all is well in blogland this wet and wild morning?? Did you all have a lovely weekend?? Do anything nice?? I did, I did heee!

I went to the Ideal Home Show at the SECC and meet the lovely Greg Wallace! He is a wee sweetie! Was too awe struck I couldn't get me phone out my bag quick enough for a quick wee picture! Sad?? Yes I am! The show its self was rather rubbish! Was full of people trying to sell Gas and Electricity(cant remember seeing that many stalls last time) plus a whole section full of make-up, jewellery and ladies stuff! Weird I thought for a Home Show!

After the show we came home, took the dog out and decided to go to the cinema to see The Hangover 2! It was so funny!! I loved the 1st and couldn't wait to see this and wasn't disappointed! The 1st was still the better but well worth a viewing!

Ok enough of me, I have sad news too!!

My lovely lil Dt Fi is leaving us, sob, sob, sob! She is going to be running a wee Challenge blog herself now and I wish her all the LUCK with it! Going miss you sweetie!

Over on Dream Valley Challenges we're also having a wee Dt call, so if you can make a creation every 2 weeks and spare time to comment, check out the details here!

"STAMP SOMETHING"

That simple! No digi's allowed only the inky stamps in this fortnights challenge! As usual you can enter any type of creation you like form Altered art to a Card, Scrap page to a piece of jewellery! As long as its stamped it can enter!

We have TWO yes 2 amazing sponsors this time!

Firstly

Papermaze is a small, family mail order business based on a farm in rural Suffolk.
I have been making cards for years, cross-stitched ones at first until a friend introduced me to rubber stamping. Paper has always been my passion and would be the first thing I looked for in craft shops in my continuing search for something different. This led me to discover scrapbooking, so now I'm hooked on that too!

The idea for the website was born after the birth of our third child, and a desire to do something different from teaching, that would enable me to work from home. After months of research, we went live in October 2003.

We pride ourselves on our fast and friendly service. Please do not hesitate to contact us if you have any questions, suggestions or comments about our site.

You can win your self a wee £10 voucher for their amazing shop!

And secondly

Funky Kits

We are a small Scottish company dedicated to bringing you the cutest of stamps for all your card making needs! We are the sole online retailers for Sugar Nellie Stamps - with new designs being premiered regularly!

We are also adding many more brands of stamps to our catalogue for all you stamp addicts!

We can be contacted Monday, Wednesday and Friday morning's on 01343 548864 or by e-mailing info@funkykits.co.uk

Come and visit our store in Elgin - Papercrafts Boutique for inspiration and info on crops, classes and local events.

You can win your own wee CHOICE of stamp from all their Sugar!

How GOOD is that!! A really good excuse to enter the Challenge hee

Now I decided to try something a lil different! Hope you like??? Lots and lots of Picture!!

Do you like??

I used my gorjuss lil Hippie Chick form Simply Sassy and DCWV papers! After seeing the lovely Bettina make this, I just had to have a wee go! You van find the details here if you wanna try yourself!
