"Tae a Haggis" xxx

Evening fellow bloggers, hope all is well in the world of blogland!!!
Well as alot of you fellow Scots know its Burns Day tomorrow and keeping with tradition and change for me I made two wee cards for the occasion!!

Ingredients:
cream card - Papermill
Tartan paper - from local shop
Stamps - Dancing Maggie and Hamish in Kilt
Coloured with promarkers
Everything else from Stash

Hamish with a wee haggis

I thought these were a wee bit different and perfect for tomorrow! So all I need is to get the old brain working and remember some Burns poems!
Thanks for looking and all comments are so appreciated

  1. Gorgeous cards Melly and Happy Burns Night to you!
Can't help with the Burns poems ... I remember my friend (who's from the Borders) teaching me Flower of Scotland about 20 years ago and I can never remember any more than the first verse no matter how much she went over the words (...mind you, drink had been taken at the time!)

  4. Love those cards, I really like the Maggie and Hamish images. The last one I used was a "big sister" card for my wee granddaughter when her baby brother was born. I've just had a quick nosey round your blog to remind myself what you make! You should join us at Totally Gorjuss with your GGs. Not that we insist on GGs, we accept any sort of cute images now...we're not proud.
By the way it's so long since we lived in Lanarkshire that I don't really miss it. Can't believe Ross's garage is still there. When I got married all the farmers had an account there and you just went in and someone filled up the car for you. And everyone had an account at Jack's....think half our wedding presents came out of Jack's lol!
We lived outside Lanark, down the Braehead road just after Harelaw roundabout. Haven't been down in ages till my FIL's funeral at Carstairs church last March.
