7th December Challenge xxx

Evening everyone
Hows all out there in a bitter cold blogland?? Has the weather been OK where you are? Its been bad here in Scotland with temperatures down to -17!! Hubby seems to have been really lucky yesterday as the roads got so bad only an hour after he left Hamilton or he might have been stuck!

So I promised you I would show you the wee cards I made yesterday! I made two each of the 1st two cards but all for different orders! Hope you like them??

And this wee one I liked to enter into

Not done much today, been far to cold to do anything! So made big pot of soup to keep as all warm and then decided to make some gingerbread men but with shortbread as neither of us like ginger! Was fun using wee paper stencil to get the shapes perfect then use the scrapes for stars and stuff! And here's the end result ....

Ok so I'm totally lying! These are too too perfect and nothing like mine hee! This is mine

When they went in the oven they were perfect shapes but sorta turned into blobish men hee! But at least they taste good hee! Here's a little close up of my wee shortbread man!

Hubby said they taste good and I must admit they are so yummy! All buttery like when you were wee and nothing like those shop bought things hee!!
Did you all watch Corrie?? Oh how good was that wee crash?? But how mad were you that it was only in the last 2 mins!! Got more tonight, so we'll see whats happening and what we all wanna know .... Who dies??? Hee its not good TV without a good death hee!!

    Lovely cards Melly. I'm sure they'll be really popular. Your biscuits sound yummy. I don't bake much now the kids are all left home but I used to bake every week lol!

    I'm off post a card on my blog that I managed to get made during toilet visits. Little dogs can't half wee!!!

    Hi Melly. These are beautiful cards. Beautifully coloured and love the colour combinations. I think everyone in my house would prefer shortbread instead of gingerbread. They look fantastic. I don't make shortbread as it never turns out right. Glad hubby got home safely and you got to see to his gran safely too. In this weather you worry more about them, don't you. Heard today a lot of people had to spend the night in their cars. Not a nice thought. Better to stay indoors and craft. Take Care. Donna
