I do hope to find you all well?? Are you getting ready for the Christmas??
The radio just informed me its 34 DAYS away ekkkk!! When you hear it like that it really makes you start to panic! I have to gifts so I'm like 10% finished hehehhe

I have been so busy with allocations the past few weeks and then orders that I haven't really had much time to make Christmas cards! Hmmm time is running away again lol

We did manage to finish our spare room tho so, we're half way there for getting the house ready for Christmas! My brother will be here and wanted it all nice for him instead of the dumping ground a spare room always becomes!

Anyways enough talk, here's a wee card I did manage to make 2 weeks ago

I managed to make another of those Twist and POP cards

The papers are last years Hobbycrafts own collection and I coloured the wee birds with my Spectrum Noirs
IG1, IG2, GB2, GB6, GB7, BT1, BT2, BT3, BT4, GT1, GT2, GT3, TN7, TN9, EB8
everything else was in my Christmas stash box

I would like to enter the following Challenges

Blue and Red Birthday xx

Hello there all

Oh its been a wee while since I posted on here, you know how bust the Christmas season can get tho! I hope Santa spoiled you all and brought you some fun Crafty bits too??

I wanted to share with you a wee 50th Birthday Box I had the privilege of making

The papers were from my stash, a bundle of 12x12 papers I got from Hey Little Magpie and the images are all stamps from Lili of the Valley coloured with Promarkers!

I really enjoyed making this, maybe because I hadn't made one a while but it was fun to spend a few days enjoy making all the elements!

Well I'm off to relax with the dog, log fire and my crochet today!

A Birthday Star xx

Hello all

I do hope to find you all well??
I'm doing better, even managed a trip outside! It might have only been t the bin but it was unaided and didn't need by hubby to hold my hand!

Today I waned to share this wee card I made for Scott, my step Dad! His birthday was the day I went into hospital in January and then he unlucky had an operation the following week! So two of us are stuck in trying to get back to health at the same time!

I used my Silhouette Cameo to cut out the shape and elements
The papers are Studio Calico and embellishments are from my stash
I outlined everything with a promarker, Duck Egg, to make the colours pop!

I had so much fun making it and have plan to make another!

Will off to sit ad crochet, my only activity not to cause too much pain!

Till next time

A Quick Birthday Card xx

Good Morning

Firstly Happy New Year too you all, I know I'm a bit late but with everything so hectic here then losing our Internet last week this is the first chance I've had to pop on!

I hope you all had a great New Year and this year has been good to you so far!

This week I wanted to share with you a simple little Birthday card

Its a nice simple card that you could make from most things in your craft stash

I took my card blanks and the yummy DCWV Juniper Berry paper stack

Next I took one of the papers from the stack and stuck it to the card blank leaving a small border

I then took a piece of white card and offset sticking onto the card too. I added dash lines all round the edge of the white card using a blue marker (not shown here)

Using the scraps I die cut some flowers and one of the Spellbinder circles using my Big Shot

I then layered the flowers my size added foam pads for some dimension then sticking to the top part of the white panel

I took some blue twine and tied a double bow and stuck to the flower centre

Adding a large clear stoned brad to the centre too

I then stamped a sentiment onto my ticket die-cut using Broken China Distress ink, sticking into the flower before finishing off with a stamped sentiment on the panel below the flower

As you can see its a nice simple card but rather effective!
A great wee last minute/quick card that we always need to rush to make! Please remember there is still time to get a bargain in the Clare Curd Crafts SALE!!

Well thats me for today, got the doctors then off to a spot of lunch with my hubby!
Have a great day

Inky Butterflies xxx

Well good morning all

Its Friday already, can't believe what a fast week its been and not only that its the 1st of the month already! Can you believe its November?? This year has just flown by and the next thing it'll be C******** ekkkk I'll not say the word yet as I know some of you don't like it lol!

Anyways its time for another wee Design Team post from Clare Curd and this time I've been getting messy

As you can see I've been playing with my Distress Inks and some Dylusions Spray plus my fav IndigoBlu Wild Meadow Butterfly stamp

First I used my Distress inks in Peacock Feathers and Broken China to make my blue backgrounds then sprayed them with my Dylusions After Midnight Ink before spraying with my sparkle spray
Next I stamped my butterfly from the set using embossing ink and powder onto black paper, again spraying over with Dylusions and sparkle before cutting and layering my panels

You can see above I cut out a few of the butterflies in a black and also one in white with the Peacock Feathers ink before sticking to the card and adding a small sentiment from my stash, adding a small piece of ribbon to tie the colours altogether

I really enjoyed getting messy and playing with my sprays as the do get neglected while I play with papers and making 3D items lol! Tho the ink just doesn't wanna come off now

Well till next time, keep crafting
