Bow Card Tutorial x

Hi you lovely lot and welcome back to my wee blog

Today I’m sharing my next YouTube tutorial with you all, a wee Bow Card

This time tho I’ve created a FREE download for you all to create your own! Follow the Bow Card Link and you will be taken to a Dropbox download for SVG files and a PDF for you to use with your cutting machine (like a Circuit or Silhouette) or print out and hand cut out instead

I created the above Bow Card just for the video and teach you how, making the pink and turquoise toned one. Both made exactly the same but looking totally different but just as stunning

I used my 12x12 Bazzill card stock along with different pattern papers on each but the same stamp and die set coloured with my Copic Markers. The stamp is from the amazing Alex Syberia Designs called Life is Good and I use the matching Dies to cut it out

I used some different coloured ribbons from Hobbycraft and Amazon along with gems from Chloe’s Bling box and the large gem is from AliExpress. I also added some foliage with an old sizzix die plus lots and lots of glitter

What do you think? Do you see your self creating one? It’s that type of card to give on an Extra Special Occasion, the BIG birthday or maybe a Wedding! The type of card to make people smile and something they will display and keep.

Remember you still have one more day to enter the giveaway, see the YouTube video for all the details plus you can find more of my tutorials here

Until next time, have fun crafting and remember to tag me if you create any of my makes

 Happy Saturday lovelies

How are we all doing?? Hope you are keeping well and enjoy the sunshine we have been having?? We've had some snow showers and horrible winds but the sun keeps putting through so I can't complain

Today I want to share a little card I made for a super Special person

my gorgeous BESTIE Ellie
this lovely lady turns 40 today and since I can't be with her I can show the world how amazing she is!

We both live far from each other but are always there for one another even with the distance! She has a hell of time recently but has come out STRONGER and BRAVER than ever before! Plus she's got a heart of gold and would give anyone her last Role lol just not the last of the tea!!

Love ya to bits peaped and we'll celebrate together soon

On to her wee card, using both our favourite colours too Purple and Green

I created a Bow Card using the lush new Dovecraft papers Butterfly Kisses along with the Butterfly Die from the range
I added lots of Mulberry Flowers, gems, ribbon and lots of glitter to make it sparkle

I loved creating this and just knew the colours were perfect for Ellie plus all the butterflies and gems!

You can find more of the Butterfly Kisses range over at the Craft Label along with all you're other crafty necessities or just because!

Well off to get more work done and drink tea to celebrate my bestie!
Happy 40th Birthday Ellie

Take care and stay safe until next time

I've been PUBLISHED woohoo xx

Good morning lovelies

Sorry its been a wee while since I posted but been hectic with work and then last week was just so SUPER exciting!

As you can see from the title, yes little me has been published!! Woohooooooo
After winning the contest this is my first publication in Papercraft Essentials! It has been amazing to see and it still doesn't feel real!

Ekkk its just so exciting and as you can see I had some fun making some Easter makes, perfect for those who have family and friends over or just want to create a special gift for someone

Not only did the magazine come out last week it was my Birthday and we spent the day in Edinburgh, enjoying food and wandering around, having more food and then Dairy-free Fudge! Was a great wee day with hubby and I was spoiled rotten.

Then, yes my fab week wasn't over, we enjoyed a wee over night on Friday at Glenskirlie Castle! Before going we went to Callander for a wee visit, got some lunch, dodged the rain and picked up some Birthday presents for my brother before driving to the castle.
Its a beautiful place and so easy to miss because of its location! If you ever looking for a special overnight its perfect! Princess style all the way!

Back home Saturday, relaxing and walking the dog (don't worry our nephew puppy sat for us) then trying not to move too much with all the food we ate on Friday night lol! I'm so not used to 3 courses!!

Yesterday was spent gutting my craft room and slowly "playing" I mean moving my new bits in and rearranging it again to work for me! Why is it you always find new bits you've forgotten about or sat aside to hide from Hubby

Well, its back to work for me this week. A few more orders and allocations to finish, Mother's Cards and Gifts to make and even a Congratulations Exploding box! Ohhhh its busy busy again!

Happy 2017!!!

Well Happy New Year!!

Yeah I know I'm a bit late with it, but with having that horrible virus that lasted weeks and weeks and then being soooo busy............. I'm BACK!!

Not only am I back with a fab lush new Blog,(isn't it lush hehhehe) I also have the most super news!!! Ekkk its just amazing!

http://www.papercraftmagazines.com/

Yeah I DID!!
Little old me not only entered Papercraft Magazine Designer of the year Competition, I WON!! I couldn't believe it, ME little ME won!!
When I go the call in December I just couldn't believe what I was hearing and the lovely Natalie that phoned me had to repeat herself a few times! All I remember is saying "Really??" and something about going to a panto that night lol! Yeah I was over the moon! Once she came off the phone I had to lie down as I knew I'd pass out otherwise, not good when your home alone! I then phoned hubby and got emotional all over again!
He couldn't understand a thing I was saying and I could tell he thought something bad had happened! So getting myself under control I could tell him and all he said was "I knew it! Told you you could do it!!" and then I cried some more

So sitting on that was hard and thought I had to wait till February for the mag but my lovely friend seen me in the magazine Papercraft Essentials and let me know! That's it, I now have the most amazing year ahead of me and I just can't wait to get stuck in!!

Here's my wee magazine post

http://www.moremags.com/papercrafts/papercraft-essentials

Ekk yip that's my wee face in a magazine! I still can't believe it and feels so amazing! Here is a close up of my creations! I didn't get the best pictures but you can still see them ehhhh ok

My wee Fairy House is my favourite make and has twinkly lights inside to make it so magical!

One of my favourite makes of last year was Bow Front cards and knew I needed to make one for the competition!

and lastly is a little Tri-fold card in my favourite colour and pretty images coloured with Spectrum Noirs

Hope you like my wee makes as much as I loved making them??

The best part of winning the competition is getting to be a place on the the Papercraft Magazine Design Team and ekkkk I've already had my first allocation! I can't wait to share it with you all but sadly you will have to wait till March hehehe

Will that's my good news for the start of 2017 and I knew that its gonna be amazing for the rest of this year! Its gonna be the BEST!!

Will tell next time everyone
