Good morning everyone, hope your all well today?? I've got this wee post scheduled so hopefully its here hee?
We're off out for the day, maybe to see "Eclipse"(fingers crossed) but defo out having a wee day together! Hubby been working so hard and needs a nice relaxing day!
So onto this wee card! My lovely Great Aunt Irene asked if I could make a wee card for her neighbour and of course I said yes! The card she was asked for was a bit different and a slight challenge. She wanted a card for a lady she grew up with since she was young and then immigrated to Canada. Its her 50th year staying out there and she wanted to "celebrate" her life!
Ingredents:
Card stock - Papermill
Paper - local art shop
Image - Dancing Maggie
Lace - Hobbycraft
everything else from stash
How cute is Maggie, I so love this stamp!!
Hope you like the wee card?? Do you think it'll be okay?? I've posted it to my wee Granny to give to my Aunts neighbour as she'll be there this weekend and also to get my lovely wee Granny's opinion!! She's my BIGGEST fan hee!
I used the sketch from The Sugar Bowl for the Maggie page and the sketch from Cardpatterns for the Canada page!

ReplyDeleteHope you had a fun day out with Hubby (and hopefully you enjoyed drooling over Eclipse!)
(BTW, if its OK would you mind if I waited till next week to pick my candy stamps as Lili of the Valley are having a Christmas release and they'd be just what I need)
