Busy Busy busy busy xx

 Happy Wednesday you lovely lot

I hope you are all keeping well?? Staying safe and keeping busy! So who knows what the next few months will bring but at least the vaccines seem to be rolling out quicker! The quicker they do the sooner we see all those love ones we miss! Or get to go further than 5 miles

I've been busy working away on my magazine pieces and having some fun times with Hubby and Jura! We even managed a lovely hike on Sunday before the rains came back! Here's hoping Spring will bring some more sunshine for us!!

Have you seen the latest Hunkydory Box Magazine?? Above is some of the makes I had so MUCH fun making and even made a couple of extra cards 'just because'!

Below is a wee Gift Card Holder that you pull the knot of the ribbon to get to the card

and my most favourite make this year so far has got to be this little Flower Cart! I had days of trying to get it just right and then making a cut file and template so you can make you're own!

You can find the Hunkydory Magazine here!
Check it out not just for a beautiful Kit but the team have really out done themselves creating cards, gifts and papercrafts pieces to really inspire you all to get crafting!

I also had the chance to make something for the lovely Lisa Horton and her fantastic new Box Magazine

This is my little Fairy House  that I show you how to make using the kit and some bits you will have in the house! You could make a few and have a wee Fairy Village and add some stamped images to bring it alive!

Will I best get back to work! Some men makes this week and you all know how I rubbish I am at those! But hopefully they will look better than my scribbles

Take care everyone and stay safe

Little Fox xx

 Happy Sunday

I hope you are all well and having a good week?? Things have been so busy here with work that I can't wait for you all too see! So pleased with my little .......... I made for you all to make you're own! Watch this space

We took restored to just recharge and poor hubby caught up on some sleep and I binged Taskmaster! How he slept with me laughing like an idiot I have no idea hehehehehe

I have a cute little piece to share with you all that I have wanted to make for ages (like most things lol)

How cute is this little sleeping baby Fox
The file is from the super talented Sophie of Sofs Paper Planet. Some of her creations you can print and make up but this one Tree Fox comes as an SVG too. All the papers are 12x12, all different brands and from my giant stash! But I love the look it gives

PLEASE NOTE - I took lots of pictures but the light kept changing so they all look different! The wall is white but appears cream at times

If you look closely to the picture above there is a 2p coin just between the body and tail. This shows you how BIG this was to make! I used 1 sheet of white pattern, 1 of grey, 3 orange toned and 7 brown pattern papers to create the cutie. It was a flat back so can be perfect for a wall display

I did also create a bundle of flowers I was planning to add to the tree but much preferred it as is! What do you think?? Would you add them

Today is a work planning day, sadly hubby still can't work but at least he can go into the workshop and get away from it. Hopefully these next few weeks will ease a little, people will get their injections and we can see our families!

Take care and stay safe

Remembrance Poppy x

 Hello lovelies

I do hope you are all well and staying safe?? It's hard to think we're back in a mini lockdown but with the way numbers are going it was inevitable!! With lots being cancelled and closed again I wanted to share a wee project with you that you can make too. So here is my Remembrance Poppy

My mum had asked if it was possible to create something to pop at her window to show here support and of course I said yes!! I made 3 to begin with and then my aunt asked if I might have a template so she could make one and now I created another after deleting the first

Below is a picture Step by Step and then the PDF or SVG file to help you make you're own I just ask that you would think to giving too the British Legion Poppy Appeal as this year especially they need all the help they can get
___________________________________

What you need to get started -
  • Red, Black and Green card
  • Black Distress Ink, Green Distress Ink
  • Spritz bottle with Water
  • Circle of Green card
  • Glossy Accents
  • Small bowl
  • Ball Tool
  • Hot Glue
  • Twine
Remembrance Poppy

Print out the Template and use to cut out 2 Poppy Petal shapes from Red Card, the Centres from Black card and Leaves from green card

Add Black Distress ink to the centre of the petal and come up about 1/3. Repeat on both sides and on the second petal

Ink the edge of the leaves. Leave the ink to dry for at least 30 mins or use a heat tool

Once the ink is dry spritz with water on both sides. Don't make to damp just enough to make the card more pliable

Scrunch up the petal tightly and leave to the side

Repeat with the 2nd petal, leaves and centres. Sit aside for 10/15mins

Cut out a circle shape about an inch and use a ball tool to make a dome shape. Add some dabs of glue to any folded layers to hold in place

Ink the edges of the dome with Black and green then add foam pads built up to the inside

Cover the surface with Glossy Accents and set aside to dry

Carefully unfold the petals. They might rip but that's ok as you can glue it back together. Scrunch a little more to shape the edges but keep it open

Put the petals in a small bowl and allow it to 'cup' slightly. The middle should be inside almost flat with the petals coming up then curling back

Unfold the rest of the Poppy pieces and add the 2nd petal to the bowl. Set aside to dry fully or use a heat tool to speed it up

Once dry glue the two petals on top of each other in an 'X' shape. Try and keep the 'cupped' shape by added hope glue to hold the petals in place

Add the Centres, the largest one first then the domed piece. Squash the pieces around the dome

Touch up the leaves with more link to make the texture stand out

then glue them onto the back of the Poppy

Finish with some twine to hang the Poppy and cover with a scrap of card

And that's you finished!
Sorry its Picture heavy but I find sometimes it can be easier too see then just describe!

Please if you can donate as every penny goes to helping support the Forces and their families especially when they need it most! find the link below

Remember if you make one, pop it in the window to show your support!

I hope you enjoyed this wee tutorial for the Poppy and you can find the link to the files below!
Stay safe and take care

Little Rudolph xx

Hello Lovelies

I hope you are all well and cosying into Autumn?? We had a wee weekend away on some little adventures with Jura to the Highlands! She was great and only had one wee accident involving bursting the Travel Crate lol after that she was super! She didn't like the rain but loved the attention of all the people and other dogs. Hubby has decided he needs a sign with her name, age and breed or charge a £1 for each time lol she's just too cute

Found a sign for her in Oban

Didn't like the rain

and found the perfect spot for snoozing!

A great wee first holiday for her

I have't been working still but have manages to finished some bits I started for the Use Your Craft Stash Challenge! Does It count that I had bits cut out for months?? So here is R

Here is my 'little' Rudolph the Red Nose Reindeer
The file is one I found on Etsy that you are suppose to print out, cut and piece together but I turned it into an SVG File. the fawn dense sit perfectly and the back has a little space but it still looks ok with his little gloss Red Nose. I also added holes to the moon so I could add the light to shine through

When I first got this I though it would be about 10 inches but its actually 21!!!! I've placed a Distress Oxide pad that I used on the moon to show the size.
Used old old old yellow 12x12 papers that I don't think I would have used any other times as it was soooooo bright, lots of brown off cut 12x12 pieces and glossy accents to the nose along hot glue to hold it all together

I also created my S, an oldie but a goodie from my fav SVG Files

My little Snowman Treat Box from SVG CUTS. The file is called Christmas Open House and has some fun Christmas home gifts makes

I used my large stash of white card with Silver Centura Pearl Card, Slate Grey card scraps, Scarlet Ribbon, Mulberry leaves and some Silver berries along with Nuvo Drops for the details

A wee video to show the sparkle hehehehe

Well I have to sort my craft room, reply to emails and get ready for hopefully getting back to my favourite ........ making things
Remember anyone can join us at Use Your Craft Stash so please come on over!!

Take care and stay safe
